Html Elements!

HTML element is all things from the Start tag to the End tag. HTML elements are the fundamentals of HTML. HTML documents are simply a text file.

The Start tag is called Opening tag. The End tag is called Closing tag.

Syntax of HTML ElementAonedown

1. HTML Element start with Opening tag/start tag.
2. HTML Element start with Closing tag/End tag.
3. Content written between Opening tag and closing tag.
4. Some HTML element has Empty content.

HTML Example

<html>
<body> 
<p>This is my Step in aonestudy tutorial.</p> 
</body> 
</html>
The above example contains 3 HTML elements.

Example Explained

The <html> element:-

<html> element defines the whole HTML document.
The element has start with opening tag <html> and closing tag </html>.

The <body> element:-

<body> element defines the body of the HTML document.
The element has start with opening tag <body> and closing tag </body>.

The <p> element:-

<p> element defines the paragraph in the HTML document.
The element has start with opening tag <p> and closing tag </p>.

Don’t Forgot the End Tag.

Some HTML element display right if you forgot the end tag:
<hr> This is for Horizontal Line.
<p> This is for Paragraph.
The Example above works in the most browsers, because the end tag is optional.

Empty HTML Elements

The HTML elements with no content is called empty elements.
<hr>is an empty element without ending tag (the <hr> tag shows a horizontal row).
<br> is an empty element without ending tag(the <br> tag shows a break line).

HTML tags are not case sensitive: <BR> means the same as < br>.

UPPERCASE or lowercase?

You should always use code in lowercase.

Good:

<head>

Bad:

<HEAD>
